Discover what makes Solo tick. Our first single driver UIEM is much more than meets the eye; a combination of state-of-the-art 3D printing and aluminum machining with ancient acoustic techniques. To maximize the efficacy of this new technology for us, the 14.2mm Planar Magnetic transducer needed some precisely controlled tuning adjustments in the high-frequency band. Solo’s integrated Dual Helm...

      Other than the little red and blue dots on the cables (which can be hard to spot on stage), we often recommend configuring your R and L in-ears differently so you instantly remember which side is which.

    Is there a benefit to get the n8 over the A6t? I play guitar and sing in rock/metal bands.

    • @64Audio
      @64Audio Місяць тому

      The choice predominantly associated with a tuning preference. A6t is a balanced workhorse which excels particularly well with guitar, has great separation, and has nice controlled sub bass information with punchy transients. N8 on the other hand is going to supply warmer, more enveloping bass, still with great separation but due to the tuning is not necessarily a balanced enough tool for mixing. So it really comes down to how much overal bass warmth you want in your mix.

    I aak myself how much much the drivers costa. I think only 80uss. Great iem but dont beat chinese brands in the 350-500uss range. I own a lot of iems in the past years, Letshuoer is defenetely maybe the best brand in price and sound. Poor 64 audio sell iem with 30uss driver for 1000uss. 64 needs a lot of money 😮

At least check QC for do not see cheap and sloppy inside . It is $1400. Not $14. While we won't comment on the cost of our components, with all of our IEMs, we're proud to work closely with trusted suppliers who manufacture certain components for us-some custom, some exclusive, and some off-the-shelf-to ensure we receive their absolute best. Our expectations for these suppliers’ exhaustive quality control are only surpassed by the standards we hold ourselves to when building these IEMs in Vancouver, Washington, USA.

      @ this is wrong answer from top company of earphone. 1, you should sorry for bad QC. Ear shall opened by 20C temperature without force from outside. Do re-educate QC team and manufacture process. This problem happening to 64 audio product. Continuously. Search it. You can see thousand case of them in google 2. Most of your customer believe you guys using customized and modified driver. Driver is the heart of earphone. Most important part. But it same with Chinese common earphone parts. Cost is not a problem. ‘Your brand image and value is crushing down among earphone user’. Next time user will not buy your Planar driver product. You will see worst sale amount in future. Most of customer of your company want to buy high grade and customized and special parts. We are not saying ‘Can’t trust Chinese driver’. Do not lead it wrong way. 3. Tuning level is not that different with F1 pro, S12 pro etc. I know little difference make a big price in this market. But that difference doesn’t worse for $1400 from $50. Many earphone user comparing ‘Solo’ and ‘F1 pro’. Result is not that good for 64audio. Now 4. Most of reviewer already know this and gave the low score to ‘Solo’ and listeners. As well. 5. Need to do something If you want to keep your brand image 6. We don’t need to be expected from 64 audio if 64audio is not ‘Top company in this market’ 7. I bought 64audio solo. So, I can say all of this.

    is open back?

    • @64Audio
      @64Audio 3 місяці тому

      In Solo we have our Apex Core technology integrated into the planar drivers’ manifold which vents out of the open copper mesh grill of the faceplate. The pressure relieving channel provides our controlled leak via acoustic filters as opposed to pneumatically interactive foam in our traditional apex implementation. While Solo isn’t technically open back, or semi-open back like Duo, it’s meant to feel very open with about -12db of isolation.

  • @mjvielle
    @mjvielle 3 місяці тому

    Not to reason backwards, but in hearing the Solo I can imagine a single driver giving me a balance of tones that simulate actual physical tones. Because that's what I hear. My planar speakers do this, though they are a bit colored or rather resonating with the room acoustics, which are never perfect. These Solos produce real sound from classical instruments in my repertoire. Most tracks are 2D, again like 2 single drivers pointing the real timbre at my head. Some tracks communicate staging (a sense of 3D), though.

    I heard this today at SoCal CanJam. It’s very good! Isolation, good, could hear the presentation well at a busy canjam! Very good well extended bass, sounds solid, a bit elevated, somewhere between expected bass and bass +. Articulate, dynamic, engaging, seems fair for the price. Male female vocals both well done. Treble ( older ears ) fits in well with the overall sound. Doesn’t have a v shape, just a bass shelf. Well Done 64!
